Gin Ga is a band from Vienna with an extensive history of travels around Europe; their music has been compared to the famous Arcade Fire while the drive at concerts has been likened to Franz Ferdinand. However, the sound of keyboards and violin as well as frequent use of choirs does not need to lead to any simplifying notions and the band itself is working hard on making a difference through an original attitude, they are not trying to win the audiences with prompts or candy.
Gin Ga’s debut album was released in 2011 and two of the singles gave the band rotation on European alternative music radio stations as well as numerous invitations to major events and festivals, such as the highly prestigious Primavera in Barcelona.
