Acollective (IL)

The Israeli band Acollective ranks among the most popular indie-rock names in their country. They have stormed European stages and have appeared in the Czech Republic in the festivals in Boskovice as well as at Colours of Ostrava. The band’s amalgamation of genres, seven-person lineup with changing the instruments and vocalists, has been scoring one success after another.
Their latest album, Onwards, was produced by Chris Shaw (Nada Surf, Bob Dylan, Public Enemy) and it was nominated Record of the Year in Israel. Foreign press and media have been hunting for a best comparison: is the band more similar to a concoction of Devotchka and Beirut or to Tindersticks blended with Johnny Greenwood?
