An American soul singer, rapper and musician of Panamanian origin. He appeared on the scene in the mid-1990’s as a hip-hop rapper; he cooperated with a jazz band in the end of the decade. Aloe Blacc went solo in 2003 with the debut album Shine Through. The second album Good Things, produced by Jeff Dynamite and Leon Michels, was released in 2010.
Aloe has participated in major and largely reflected charity projects such as Red Hot + Rio 2. He has appeared in the world’s largest festivals like Glastonbury and The Falls Festival in Australia. His last year’s venues also included the famous North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
