The Jerusalem quartet describes their music as “folk-tronica” and often performs in unconventional locales with a specific atmosphere: in caves, garages, on rooftops. They also enjoy urban music festival, such as United Islands.
Folo has been in existence for five years and have released only one album so far, The Secret Message. It was recorded in the home studio by the band’s guitarist and co-worker with Iceland’s great artists Björk and Sigur Rós. Folo’s music mixes “Icelandic vibrations” with the music of “live” instruments, samples and real-life sounds from Israel.
